Well guys, went on my first fishing trip of the season today, in my first boat, and caught my first fish of the year...... Only caught one today, but with the water temp at about 40 degrees, cant expect much.... But it was an awesome day....

X's 2.  All the lakes near me are only really fishable from the dams and maybe 1 or 2 other places along the bank.  Id kill for a chance to be able to fish all that unaccessalbe water from a boat.  Congrats on your first fish of the year!

1/2 oz green jig with a little trailer on it.....

went out yesterday too for the first time of the year on my boat. water temp was 39 ended up catching three on a black/blue mini mop jig. caught a head cold to it was so cold yesterday mornin lol.

Sounds like a great day. Hoping I can make I out this week.
