Does Anyone Have Any Experience With This Bait Caster?

Featured Replies

I was at Bass Pro today and saw a pretty nice Quantum KVD bait cast combo for $99. Looked pretty good but I wanted to know if anyone had this particular reel and what you thought of it. Thanks. A buddy bought one today and so far loves it.

I don't have any experience with that reel but it looks like a Quantum Code with some KVD logos on it.  The real KVD Quantum reel costs $299.  I would think you could find a better reel for $99.  Check out the Pro Qualifier.

Code with fome grips... code is decent and pretty light, but there are much better reels for the price-point.

The wife wanted one more combo and really liked this one. Initially she was gonna get a Revo s and a rod, but now she just doesnt wanna spend that much.

I have one and it sits on the shelf if that says anything. I tried to use it but after using my lews TP or curado its like a meat grinder.
