Neat finds at a yardsale

Featured Replies

I am staying in Tulsa this weekend because I have a show to play with my band. We got here Friday, and this morning we went and hit the neighborhood yardsales. At the final one we went to; I noticed an OLD looking tacklebox. I glanced over the stuff in it, and bought it for $10. I got home and got out my Grandpa's lure collecting books. I got three of the old (1960's) Rapala's made in Finland, a South Bend Super Duper spoon (circa 1950's), and a neat automatic fly reel made around 1947. I also got quite a few newer rogues and even a Storm Wigglewart. Got a bunch of panfish hooks, a old book of mustad hooks, and some old floats. The mustad hooks are blued like a gun-- that was certainly something different. I was going to sell some of the stuff, but I decided to start an older lure collection. I do not have my camera with me, but I will post some pictures when I get home.
