I like strike king Shim-e-sticks. They have the closest fall weight and shimmy compared to the original I've seen.

If your talking about the smart cast, (clips on your rod); it has the resolution of an Atari. There really aren't any great shorebound fishfinders. BPS actually uses a "Fred" on their reels. It's kind of a moot point, but I thought I'd let you know.

Spiderwire digs like nobodies business. The fish never got a chance to see mine, because the lure never even got in the water with it.

I do like to see before I buy like most people. The lack of non-online dealers is my biggest gripe. I will be replacing most of my spinner baits with Strike Backs. If you ever come out with a Colorado bladed spinner bait, I will replace ALL of my spinner baits for Strike Backs.

My first great boating dilemma--how in the world do I get a fish finder on this crazy thing! The main trouble is finding where to put the stupid transducer. 1. I can mount it on the transom. The main problem with this, is that aluminum boats have all kinds of rivets and ribs and stuff to cause interference. Most people say it's a pain trying to mount on the transom. 2. I can mount it on my TM. I can't use it while the big motor is on, and there is the risk of knocking the smitherinkums off it on a stump or rock. 3. Get a portable fish finder like with a suction cup transducer, or a fishin' buddy that clamps onto the side of the boat. Maybe someone here has made the decision here before. Please enlighten me if you have.
