KVD Spinnerbait

Featured Replies

I got a new KVD Tournament Series Spinnerbait tonight and it comes with a trailer hook. I wanted to put a plastic grub on there as a trailer but I can't get the trailer hook off. Does anyone but the trailerbait on the trailer hook?

if it's the spinnerbait I think it is  the trialer hook is kept on by a small clear piece of tubing.  I just cut them off and removed the trailer hook.

Thats the one... I was hoping to keep it intact. I like using trailer hooks.

Well I think that can still be done with a couple things and if I can explain this well enough  ;)

I sometime use trailers and sometimes not so they aren't always on of course.  What I use to keep the trailers on is a thickish piece of plastic (well it is Lexan actually  I race RC cars so it is usually around).  I simply use a paper punch, use it to punch holes in the plastic, Lexan etc. the punches(little dots if ya get what I am describing) are what I use to keep the trialer from comin off.  So put in w/e trailer ya like the trailer hook, poke hook through dot past barb and ya should be in buisness.  Poke the holes in the dots before ya push them over the hook makes it much easier I use a metal scribe.

Hope that wasn't too windy of confusing   :D
