You are going to need at minimum an 8/0 for this bait. I managed to get mine rigged on a 6/0 wide gap screw lock with a #2 trebble stuck in its guts but an 8/0 or 10/0 would be more fitting.

Owner beast 6/0 works, or the 8/0. The other that works well is the 7/0 mag trokar. I'm told the VMC hook works very well, also.

I have mine rigged on an Owner Beast 8/0. I wouldn't use anything smaller, actually I wish I could go with a 10/0.
