Empty Spools?

Solo, check out local tackle stores and any Bass Pro Shops, Cabela's, Gander Mountain, Academy, etc. and ask them for their empty spools the accumulate after they spool the reels they sell.

You can obtain many spool sizes from these retailers.

I would think the retailers, especially small tackle shops, would love to give you their empty spools just to get rid of them.

Can you tell us why you want the empty spools?

I use some of mine when changing line for a tournament if the old line is still in good condition.

Good luck and let us know what you find out at the retailers.

Same here, I have a limited number of reels so I have to change line at times to conduct a different method of fishing. The line is still good, so i recycle it.
