Was fishing a small Square-bill Crank just above the "snot grass", felt a little tick, and killed the lure, then twitching it, thinking I had yet another small male interested in my bait. Next thing I know the rod is doubled over and I'm in for the fight of my life! I'll let the picture do the talking; 12 pounds 3 ounces!!!

Why did I spend all that money on a Bass Boat when the best fishing I'll probably ever do is 15 minutes from my house?

Nice fish Ks!!! Looks like I went to the wrong place today. I got blanked at Nashoba. Man there were males all over the shoreline. Looked like they were guarding fry. Saw a couple females cruising but couldn't get them to bite anything I had. Gotta love fishing!
