So I'm getting a irod genesis 2 Bama special for my b day but won't have the money to buy a reel for awhile, think my citica d will hold up with up to 3 oz a rigs til I get the money for a lews super duty? And any opinions on the lews super duty? Thanks

    I have a Citica D. I believe the reel has brass gears which is ideal for power techniques. I think it would be fine.

     I don't toss them a lot, but when I do, it's with a Citica D.
