What other jig trailers float?

Most trailers I use " float" in a sense that the claws / appendages float up. Most of the bait is going to be held down by the weight of the jig so it is pointless to have a trailer that floats 100%. Some baits like paca craws have spots for air pockets that make bubbles in the water but also allow the claws to float.

The jig itself will aid in the posture of the claws. For instance, a football jig hook is flat on the ground at rest whereas a brush style jig head stand the hook up showing the claws to facing up as well.

Rage craws are not bouyant on their own but on a brush jig the claws will sit upright and slowly fall down. They do stay up for a good 10 seconds though.

If you guys try looking at your jig in a bucket of water or aquarium you'll see that most jig trailers just make the jig rest flat on the bottom. However the Denny Brauer chunk has so much float to it that it will lift the jig to a defensive craw stance. There don't seem to be a lot of size and color options out there for that trailer though, that's why I'm asking. 

 

If you try the aquarium trick you'll see that rage craws or zoom super chunks just fall and lay the jig flat and it doesn't look realistic at all. The DB chunk looks awesome though.

Not true. I encourage you to try the Denny Brauer chunk. It litterally lifts the jig so that it stands in a defensive craw position.

These look exactly like the DB chunks. Must be the same manufacturer without the DB name.

Most good quality jig heads sit on an angle that mimics a defensive postition. I know the kinami baits psychodad float I would check those out. 

Stankxbaitco hero craws float in the claw region as well and they are a pretty good trailer. I usually cut off the first section though to make them a touch shorter.

You're right, most jigs will sit on the defensive angle. The problem starts after the initial fall when you start to slowly drag it. That's when the jig will fall over and won't stand back up unless you pop it and have it fall back in the defensive posture.

The floating trailers alleviate this problem when dragging the jig. They pull the jig back up to the defense every time, it's pretty cool actually.

I have not used their chunk but I used the Raptor tail junior and it makes for a very buoyant productive jig trailer. The Xcite product line is very underated in my opinion.
