Well I was thinking of this and wondering if its ever been tried threading a stick bait like senko, dinger on a jig for a trailer. Has anyone ever tried this and if so have you had luck?

Haven't tried it as a jig trailer, but used a senko on a ball head and fished it around deep structure. It works great.

I've cut a white sluggo in half then sliced that partially down the middle of it and used that as a trailer on a white swim jig.  Worked fairly well.

I think its common to put a white senko on a jig head. replicates a dying bait fish.

If you look at the gander senko knockoffs, you'll see the white ones come with a free gammy jig head.
