My good buddy has several Powell rods and loves them. I like how the Endurance looks a lot. Purple is good.

Not even purple anymore.  More like indigo.   Love the OG endurances

How is the 735 for frogging? Monster Tackle had these for $99 when I went to the store. The 735 and I believe the 725cb

It was my frog rod 7 years ago when I commented and it still is.  Great rod and if your on a jig bit or want to do some pitching it's awesome too

Yup.  Seven year old thread.  As long as it is up again let me ask this, how do the new Endurance rods compare to the old?

 

I have an old 723C that I really like.  A bit heavy compared to comparable rods today, but the extra 1/2-3/4 ounce never bothered me yet.
