Loving mines too..I have mines on my smaller swimbait setup (1-5oz). Casts effortly, smooth. No issues here. Swapped the 110 handle with a 117. Cranks even effortlessly lol

I’m sure other brands work just as well. With Megabass, it’s how much money you’re willing to spend lol. I do love my Orochi Whipsnake and Destroyer Addermine though.

You’re better off surf/pier fishing if you want seafood. Or you can be like me and travel 45-50 miles to San Jose and bass fish.

I’m resurrecting this post from the dead. With frog season fast approaching, has anyone put in some time with this frog? I throw Kaera’s exclusively and occasionally a Big Gabot. I seen these in store and it has quite the profile almost similar to big gabot but slimmer. I’ve seen people say it doesn’t stay upright when walking. Curious to hear peoples opinions.

If it came in a box, I always keep it regardless if its swimbaits or reels. Just easier to ship out/maintain if I end up selling a reel or a swimbait.

Splurge

Normally have no issues with shops spooling line for me or my wife. My wife however one time went to go spool up a new Shimano Vanquish and the dude, I don’t know how, dropped the spool on table which then proceeded to roll off the table onto the floor. Safe to say the wife wasn’t too pleased. But other than that no issues, no kinks in the line, no knots.

I wouldn’t sweat it. I’ve ordered multiple times from them and no issues. All came within a week.

Well the fishery I frequent theres limited bank space. Even worse is that the water fluctuates to really high to really low. On top of that its a trout stocked lake so the banks could be littered with trout anglers especially on days they stock. When the bite is on though its really on.

Its definitely not a numbers game..its literally a grind. You can go days sometimes weeks without a bite.

Megabass Hyper Cork Knobs. Was in the market for new knobs since my cat chewed the hell out of the stock ones.

I stopped buying rods from big box stores after I asked for help. The salesperson told me what was just written on the rod itself not knowing himself what it was good for. If that was the case I could’ve made that determination myself.

Well.. I didnt feel I needed to because it felt fine out the box. The retrieve and the overall feel of it felt buttery smooth. I’ll give it more time on the water and hopefully it gets better in time.

So, spooled it up with 20lb Izor and took it on a test run. Paired it with a Low Down Customs MH 1-5oz tossing around a Tiny Klash (2oz), Roman Made Nego (2oz) and a Doomrider Glide. First impressions..I’m not impressed. Casting distance I feel is sub par compared to my Lexa 300..had it on brake setting 6, tossing into slight wind but nothing to bad to hinder a cast. Hopefully in time with more use it’ll break in and my opinion will change lol. Looks nice though

They sure are pretty to look at. While I do enjoy fishing Vision 110s, I do own a handful of Provoke 106s as well.

Black Friday haul. The wife wanted more underspins and the one she loves using happened to be on sale, so I bought a bunch of ‘em. Some Bags of Hazedongs but the Geecracks mines ?
