  1. For the same price you can get yourself a JDM Luvias LT. For a little bit more, a Certate LT ?
  2. Thats a hell of a starter frogging/flipping setup lol
  3. My Ci4 yes, it “sparkles” in the sun. Actually no, it just looks silver until you look close and see the red flakes. My wifes Vanquish and Stella..theres no metal flakes in it.
  4. Am I the only one that doesn’t like how it looks?? Looks like a reel you can get at Walmart in those plastic reel packages. Normally, Shimano Reels are a work of art but this does nothing for me.
  5. After some UPS delays and a week and half later..finally got them in.
  6. Her baitcasters are Daiwa’s so there.
  7. My wife owns a 2500 Vanquish. The C I believe stands for Compact and it is quite small. The spool is quite shallow as well, not even 100 yards of 8lb fluoro. Its a powerful reel though, she hauled in what had to be at least a 6 or 7 with no issue, no flexing , nothing. She had her doubts when she first got it because of the size but she loves it. Side note..my wifes only 5ft tall lol
  8. Megabass Orochi XX Whipsnake paired with a Stradic ci4+ 2500 Megabass Destroyer Addermine paired with a JDM Daiwa Certate 2500S-XH Props to those that use a BG for finesse fishing lol. Picked up one in store, that thing is heavy lol.
  9. Ahh the Expride..universally loved on here. I don’t see why not, pretty sure anyone with a dropshot specific rod will use it as an all around finesse rod for example the Loomis’. For comparison’s sake, I use an Orochi XX Whipsnake as an all around finesse rod. Although the only difference being the action is an extra fast but the tip is still soft.
  10. His and hers..Destroyers coming in tomorrow
  11. I have 8lb invizx and sniper To 15lb braid on my spinning setups. I have no issues. I use to run all fluoro but that got expensive real fast lol
  12. A Kage with an MQ body I’m intrigued. Seems they took away some bearings also. That BG MQ is intriguing as well...
  13. Trash, other fishermen pulling up next to you and casting, and believe or not people descaling and gutting a decent sized bass right away after being caught. Like cmon, I know you’re entitled to keep fish that you caught if its legal limit but d**n do it at home.
  14. Had a 3k, spooled unevenly out the box. Had to add 2 washers even then I didnt like how it line layed. Other than the line lay issue, smooth as silk.
  15. After reading all the good feedback from @Teal on the Endurance rods, I went back and picked up the 735 for frogs since I didn’t have a frog stick. Used some existing rewards points I had at Outdoor Pro Shop/Monster Tackle, got it for $74. This rod is STOUT lol
  16. Bought another one to go with that Destroyer I have coming in. So to me, it’s a justified purchase lol.
  17. My wallet hurts..one for me and the new p5 for her to go with that new Shimano Vanquish she got in the mail today.
  18. Cool, may pick one one up since I don’t have a dedicated frog rod. Thanks
  19. How is the 735 for frogging? Monster Tackle had these for $99 when I went to the store. The 735 and I believe the 725cb
  20. 15lb InvizX. Have no issues keeping it on top.
  21. Quick pit stop at Hi’s Tackle after work. Ended up leaving with a new reel. It’ll go nice with my Rebellion rod ? so the Stradic can finally come off.
  22. I think it was due to the blanks or something..some of the Levantes were prone to snapping. They were supposed to be re-released this year but due to the pandemic, not sure when they’ll be re introduced. People that had a Levante that snapped and were within their warranty window were able to upgrade to an Orochi for like $50 I think.
  23. I think it was mentioned here before multiple times that you can get something quality like a Shimano Nasci or a Daiwa Fuego as mentioned above for a $100 or cheaper and free up more money for a better quality rod..because sensitivity wise for a $100 rod will be very limited.
  24. This. Mines is always with me at all times, I use it for all single hook applications. No issues here either.
