So my st croix legend tournament sweeper spinner rod has 6.3 steez tw sv on it with 15lb flyoral its a mh/mf rod 7’

What kind of set up do you use I’m about to buy some Jackall ganteral jr swim baits and was curious what line and rod I should use and gear ratio I have a legend extreme 2020 h/f action with a 7.3 zillion hd with 65lb braid and was curious if this would be good should I run a leader

So st croix sweePer spinner would be fine to throw this with it has just straight 15lb fluoro

Well no what I’m saying is the drag strong enough I have to rods for punching both st croix one xtreme 2020 7’4h/f with a zillion hd but I use that for frogging to and my legend x 7’11 h/mf I put the elite p/f on but I didn’t know if this reel had enough drag to handle Punching as well as pitching and flipping

What’s your guys take would this work well with punching heavy vegetation

2 tatula sv tws 1 tatula elite 1 zillion hd tws 2 steez sv tw and 1 tatula elite flip n pitch and what gets me nervous is taking them apart and messing them up

I finally got the rod out today it’s different compared to my legend tournament sweeper spinner rod it doesn’t rock as hard but I landed two like 1lb and 2.5lb it’s a interesting hook set and I had to set hard but it’s a awesome rod I enjoyed until I caught my jackhammer on a under water downed tree

I just purchased this rod and paired it with a zillion tws hd 7.3 I was going to use it mainly for punching and frogging and what’s y’all take on this and any opine on anything else I can maybe use this rod for

Yeah see cause my zillion has 65lb braid on it so I thought worst case scenario I was thinking just switch out the reels if I need to punch or flip in heavy cove and keep me elite with like 25lb fluoralcarbon
