I use a 4/0 super line EWG hook Texas rigged.

I have both a pedal kayak and 12 foot semi-v smokercraft. The boat is nice to bring people, however many of my friends own kayaks so we can still go together. I much prefer fishing out of my PDL yak, it is just fun. Get both.

I have 2 that I would recommend: 6th Sense Provoke in perch and MB 110 also in perch. I have caught more fish on the Zoom Super Fluke in bluegill flash. I have the KVDs too in perch that have caught a few.

I throw a weightless Texas rigged senko on MH/F 6'10" rod with 10 lb flouro. For whacky rigging, I am usually skipping docks and use a MF 7' rod with 10 lb flouro.

Got some stuff from Siebert, never tried the fogy before.

I have that rod too.

I throw them on a Shimano 6'10" MxF SLX with SLX reel. I also just got a 7' MR Tatula/Tatula SV TW, a little more expensive but nice combo.

The glass rods work great for crankbaits, nice parabolic bend to pin fish.

The XT in medium should work. I am partial to the Tatula though.

I fish a Super Fluke using a 4/0 to 5/0 EWG hook. I cast it out, let it sink and twitch it. Does not take much to get it to dart, then let it die back to the bottom and repeat. I have caught a ton on bluegill flash, one of my most productive baits.
