This phots showed up yesterday on Facebook & some guys were questioning the validity of the scale it was weighed on. They still questioned it after the marina employees verified the weight & that their scale was regularly checked for accuracy. Then today I noticed another photo that better illustrates the true mass of this fish caught by Joe McKay on Lake O.H. Ivie.

May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'LEGACY SHARELUNKER 13'

BEEE-U-TI-FUL fish!

Isn’t that Milliken’s buddy? Thats a massive fish sheesh.

When you straight arm a fish for a photo, you can expect to be questioned about the weight.

If you catch one that big, I'll take your word on the weight and tip my cap to ya.

Fish-eye lenses do wonders. Based on both the above pics I would put the fish between 7-10lbs

I've never understood the internet weight guessing professionals. Unless it's going to somehow effect them personally, like they're entering the fish at that weight into an online contest or something, who cares? It's a big fish, congrats, move on with your life. How many of us regularly catch fish that size to know what one looks like? Not me unfortunately.

Yep, unless it's beyond obvious like the infamous 9lb 7oz smallie...

The fish was entered into the ShareLunker program at 16.4#.

To make it even more amazing they had a 13# & two over 12#.

A good gauge is to look at fingers/hands. And if you can see elbows, you know the angler isn't "long-arming."

Camera's can lie...take it from this photographer  : )

Looks in the 6lb range to me.

I have all my trophy catches on video with my IGFA certified BogaGrip scale and I have pics of the fish with length and girth measurements too.

There's a good chance we'll get to see this catch on YT very soon seeing that Milliken is in this pic with the Zark. It's probably legit.

P.S. All the catches were caught on camera on Milliken's boat. 6th Sense baits for all catches. Should be an epic vid.
