  1. I have wasps in my trailer tongue every summer haha. They make an expanding spray insecticide that should do it Funny, we have this problem times 10,000 at work right now. Hollow poles metal scaffolding for fire training is absolutely loaded with wasps, we are paying an exterminator to work at it for 3 hours in the morning
  2. I’m also in the bare bones crowd but I bet the pedals would be very nice if you wanted to be hands free. I have several kayaks and a canoe and they all serve a purpose. If I could only have one it would be a canoe, way more open space to move around and easy to carry. My wife has the Jackson liska kayak that I fish out of the most , it’s the Cadillac of our fleet. Paddles fairly fast, very stable , comfy chair, lots of storage. It’s heavy tho at 89ish lbs empty, I can car top it solo but I have to use a car I don’t mind scuffing or denting. It’s a 2 person lift if You want to avoid scratches. In my truck I can drop the tailgate and just life one end to set it into the bed and slide the rest of the way.
  3. I have gotten into topwater smallies chasing shad many times, don’t think it has ever happened two days in a row on the same spot tho
  4. It was amazing, always my favorite anytime I get out there. The water is usually lower and you have to swim to fish it but recent rains allowed us to take boats, although they have to be tiny boats that turn easily and that you can easily pick up and drag
  5. My cousin texted me last week and asked if I could go on a creek float Tuesday. I said I had to work, but figured I would ask my boss anyway. She said it would be fine so we watched the flow gauge like a hawk all weekend. It spiked to flood levels Saturday which would be dangerous raging whitewater. Luckily it fell out quickly and was perfect for our float yesterday. We got onto the water about 8:30 and off the water around 6:30. This is my favorite place on the planet to fish and it didn’t disappoint. It being a small creek, there aren’t really any big fish but there are ungodly amounts of fish and they don’t see lures (it’s beyond nowhere). We think we caught somewhere between 75 and 100 fish. The rapids were tons of fun even if we hadn’t made a cast. Saw a juvenile and adult bald eagle, got soaked in 3 separate downpours, narrowly avoided 2 hornets nests, almost flipped in rapids/waterfalls half a dozen times, etc etc. fun fun fun.
