Question for the grandparents...

Although my body reminds me I'm "of age" most mornings, it's crazy to now be a grandpa (Papa) myself. I've heard being a grandparent has all the perks of being a parent without the stress and worries that go along with raising children of your own, and if that's the case I may be entering one of the best chapters of my life. Anyone care to share any nuggets of advice or traditions they've done with their grandkid(s)?

Can't wait to take this sweet girl out fishing. 🙂😊

My first is about to turn 3 (I’m 52). I have another due in Oct. it is a completely different kind of relationship and I didn’t realize that until I became a grandparent myself (I’m Popsth - bc my granddaughter had/has a small lisp). For her third birthday, she wants a pink “fish po” like popsth. So, I’m going to make her one.

I was hunting at the time my grandson was born. I started taking him dove hunting when he was 3 and shooting at 5. I bought him a bb gun with no sights so he would learn instinct shooting. He went through bbs by the 1,000 and later 22s by the thousand. He grew up to be a sniper.
