  1. Only a couple miles from Huron.
  2. Been away for a while, but I got some nice 5+lber smallies last time I was out pre-winter.
  3. This popped up on my friend's Google timeline. Five years ago today, I caught a tree bass!
  4. I had no idea rod building was going to take so much research. Glad I had a couple months of lead time to get myself schooled up.
  5. You could read up on Spoonplugging. That was a pre-sonar technique for such things.
  6. I bought the bulk VMC bags from Janns Netcraft in the various sizes and tried to match the weight of the original hooks
  7. I shop the sales and choose my components carefully. For me, I saved a ton of money by building for myself.
  8. I thought FLIR was the original owner, lol.
  9. Who bought Ray Marine?
  10. At least you aren't relying on getting your rooms transported on container ships, lol. 12. Yes. Missed Day 2 of our end of year tournament the other year. I assume from exposure.
  13. Personally, I think the grips are super ugly so I never bought one. Never heard a single thing bad about their performance though.
  14. Probably panfish eating evening bugs. The bigger splashes were probably bigger fish eating the same bugs. And a few of the bigger splashes could have been bigger fish eating the occasional panfish that wasn't paying attention during dinner and became dinner.
  15. So good.
