TnRiver46's post in East TN’s Little River smallmouth fishing! was marked as the answerI’m sure they migrate some but there are more dams than just Perry’s mill, I think they live in the entire river all year, just eat more when it’s hotter in all the freestone streams around here. People catch nice fish from April-September up around walland and above. I’ve only used River Jon’s a few times when we had a big group float and somebody else was paying haha.
there is a movement to take out the dam at Perry’s mill and also the one at Rockford manufacturing. It’s been in the works for years but rumor has it, it’s gaining strength. Those mill dams don’t serve any purpose except drowning people and preventing fish migration nowadays.

TnRiver46's post in Anyone been to a Knoxville Classic? was marked as the answerParking downtown is an art form that takes a lifetime to master 😂
By march the basketball season will be in tournaments and there’s no football so it will be easier. I’m sure they will open a lot of the garages for parking, the students don’t use too many spots after 3-4 pm. I know lots of secret ninja spots to park so holler at me if needed. Some of the hotels have parking garages within walking distance of everything
I fished the whole time in ‘23 but I went in ‘19 to weigh ins and expo and it wasn’t too tricky
I think @Glenn stayed at the Marriott in ‘23
weigh in is at food city center basketball arena, expo is at Knoxville convention center I believe, and take off is from volunteer landing. All walking distance from each other. Calhouns is a good restaurant to park at, might have to get a pork sandwich to make it look good

TnRiver46's post in Why won’t all these Michigan largemouth eat? was marked as the answerSounds like early spawning activity to me, usually the only time of year when they just quit biting. It’s quite ironic as everyone is typically always looking forward to the spawn, IME it’s the worst time of year

TnRiver46's post in Mistake day on CA Delta. It costs me. was marked as the answerSome dude on chickamauga ticked off enough people to get in trouble a few years ago. He had some offshore monster boat capable of like 50 mph. I mean this thing was as big as a dozen wake boats. He would just tear up and down the river and slosh un holy amounts of water and injured 3-4 people. He is a doctor and was awaiting federal trail for some shady stuff in 2021
the boat is a Pershing 74, one bass boat clocked it at 58 mph

TnRiver46's post in River Float Tube was marked as the answeryeah buddy! The ones in this picture are one time use in the rapids . If you’re doing multiple floats for years to come, what you need are tractor tire inner tubes. The valve stem will bug you a little bit but they won’t bust nearly as easily. Throw some
hooks sinkers and a few pop R s into a bag of zoom worms and zip it in your shorts pocket
i must stress that this is some of the most fun fishing you will ever do. This is how we fish the rivers with rapids where you would normally be dragging a kayak or canoe. Sure the fishing is great, but the added element of tubing down rapids makes it so much fun
