Ability to run wiring was at the upper part of the list that my wife would have to have. 6.13 miles of wires in my boat and my wife installed it all. I did place the Group 31's in the hole. Just looks like colored spaghetti to me. At least you're knocking out some cardio.

Well I worked way more hours than I care to admit mounting and hooking up a trolling motor, I’m exhausted haha. I’ve also shocked the heck out of myself with 220 v running to a kitchen stove…… twice…… if that tells you anything about my electrical skills

Don't do that, 24 DC volts is mostly harmless, and you might get a few sparks, and maybe alittle unintended spot welding if you short to ground, but 220v AC (closer to 240v in most places), can make for a bad day. Look around the house and garage, and find a stack of black switches, and click away before playing with wires.... :)

A moderator marking his own initial post in a thread as the solution?  Something's fishy here. ?

I retired after my first stove wiring. On account of the whole shocking thing

my trolling motor currently works hard wired but I can’t make it work plugged in………….. this morning I could touch the wires going to the female plug to the  male prongs again like yesterday and it ran. Then I go inside and get my coffee and come back out and it won’t……….

A good wife would've watched some videos and got that thing wired and ready for you while you were resting up to fish. She shouldn't have to be ask, just letting her know you picked a TM should've prompted her into action. ?

That sounds like a bad relay or resettable fuse/breaker, but could also be a loose connection. Intermittent problems are a pain to nail down sometimes.

Of course there is a purple worm on your line.  I thought for sure there would be a spinnerbait.

That worm was actually morning dawn, they were biting it! Of course I started with purple and lost it, not much time to fish so I tossed the first thing I found. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with the morning dawn color, always thought it was a western thing

4-B9-C694-C-9046-4524-8715-376-CF7-FD84-Fully functioning! I was hooking the wires up wrong inside the plugs I guess, it’s 12/24 v plug and I switched from 24v motor to a 12v motor. There are two holes inside the male plug, one labeled 12 and one labeled 24. I was using the 12 since I’m installing 12v motor. Should out to my buddy Craig who texted me to try the 24v spot, it works perfectly now .

Don’t celebrate until you’ve had a full day of fishing without a fire.?
