Lithium hub. Their batteries (Ionic) have been great. Their customer service is great.

Just deploy them so they’re lower than your outboard. I’m sure you’re not going to try if the outboard will hit. Same thing I have to do to enter or leave my garage
  4. GaryH's post in Ulterra on a Tracker classic? was marked as the answer
I would contact Minn Kota help line. I found a list of Tracker xl mounts for different trolling motors but none were for the Ulterra.

For a lot less money than lithium batteries and solar charger you could purchase a super quiet Honda generator 42 decibels that only has a .5 gallon tank that runs between 3 and 6hrs depending on load. Heck one 5 gallon can would do 10 fill ups.

If there going to stay on the boat all the time I would use a neoprene rod sleeve and then slide that into a pvc tube with caps on each end. Maybe a little over kill but I’m always on the safer side.

What gen helix do you have now? If your existing unit is a older version and your getting a newer version with mega SI/DI you should upgrade your transducer to the newer version for much better performance. Other upgrades would be if your going to be networking this unit with other units/ equipment.
