Shallow water anchors under low bridge

Featured Replies

Do power poles and Raptors have a way to tilt them down to get under low bridges? Or can you deploy them half way? Sometimes I go under bridges that are low enough that I have to take my seat pedestals down to get under. Will this no longer be possible with shallow water anchors?

There is a tilt bracket available for the Talons.

I use them getting in & out of my garage.

Works great.

Just deploy them so they’re lower than your outboard. I’m sure you’re not going to try if the outboard will hit. Same thing I have to do to enter or leave my garage

Yes, basically what GaryH said, you can decide how much you want to lower/raise the power poles depending on how long you hold the up/down buttons for. I can't comment on the raptors as I've never used them but I can't imagine they'd be any different from power poles.

Same. Honestly wish I had an 8 foot garage door instead of a 7 footer though. My talon sits about an inch too high so I fold it down before going in or out. Mine is attached via a sandwich bracket.

I think they make a 15 foot talon now so I’m sure that would sit even higher than 12 foot models.

I would have bought the 15' talon, but I'd have to fold it to get in the garage. :(
