Looking for 8 oz. Sinkers...................

Featured Replies

anyone know where I can find them?  I only need 3, cannonball, or bank, does not really matter.  Had everything laying around to make 3 homemade bouys that they had in the last issue of Bass Master.................except the sinkers. 8-)

Thanks

Try a salt water tackle shop, I would think a BPS or Cabelas would have them in there saltwater section.

I second trying the saltwater section of Cabelas or BPS.

Definitely go with a saltwater tackle store. Been too long since I fished saltwater so I can't recommend any but heavy weights are pretty common for saltwater.

edit: I got thinking after I made this post that if you're using it for a marker buoy, you could probably use the weights they use for duck decoys:

Google the Kittery Trading Post in Kittery Maine. The last time I was in there they had a pretty good selection of salt water stuff. And they ship most every thing.

I have the mold to make up to an 8 ounce egg sinker, I just have to find it.  If I find it Ill PM you and send you a few.  Ill let you know

Check out Dick's Sporting Goods. Just about every town has one. They usually carry some salt water stuff.
