Next week I'm going to my  1st fishing for Rainbow Trout. so I bought: St.Croix Wild River 

Med Lt

Action: Mod Fast
Line Weight: 8-14 lbs.
Lure Weight: 1/8 - 1/2 oz.
Pieces: 2
Model: WC106MLMF2

 

8 lb Mono (Sunline -Siglon) , and 5lb Fluro for Leader( Sunline - Siglon)....and few other stuff,

 

Will use a float ..

 

Which reel is good for that rod?

....(btw I Have Shimano Sahara 1000 on another rod for bass fishing)

I have no exp with trout/salmon fishing....all I did was pike, and bass fishing.
