Low 80's on Thursday, howling winds, rain and snow Friday and Saturday, and the dreaded high barometric pressure, frosty night, clear skies, and north breeze today. I still caught a couple of brown ones (3.5lber, and 2.5lber), but it was a long day on the water for only two bites. I couldn't find them anywhere, even looking around in deep water, I have rarely seen so little activity on my graph as I have seen today, even some of my "when you just need to get 1 bite" deeper, off shore stuff was totally void of activity, I didn't even mark suspending fish.  Oh well, you win some, you lose some, and you learn a little every time. This year I am going to tell you all when I sucked, as well as when I didn't. Don't worry............I don't suck that often LMAO.post-889-0-24860800-1366595797_thumb.jpg

It was very slow out here for me also got one green fish one brown. The bucket fisherman made out good the one had 37 bullhead and 20 something bluegill.

I did OK today, nothing great.  Hit Honeoye for 4-5 hours in my kayak and caught 7, 5 bass and 2 picks.  Unfortunately, the picks were the biggest fish brought to the boat.  I had a good one on, but it jumped once and threw the bait, which was surprising as it was all trebles.

A special thanks to WW2Farmer:  Though none were particularly big today, the bigger fish came on a lipless crank ripped out of the remaining weeds. Having you comment on it in a post earlier this week gave me the confidence to stick with it today.  Absent your comments, I doubt I would have stuck with it.

Thanks!

I know what you mean about being out all day for only a couple of bites.  Seems to be the story of my life.  But hey, catching something is always better than catching nothing.  Nice fish!
