Janns Netcraft Springer 78/100 jerkbaits...

Featured Replies

So I was wandering around some other forums and I came across a discussion about Janns Netcraft Springer 78 & 100 jerkbaits.  Basically they are a LC Pointer knockoff.  Mind you, I'm not looking to replace my beloved LC pointers, nor do I expect to get the same fishability or quality of lure.  Whats got me interested is the price, basically they come in around $4-5 after you buy the hooks and split rings.  Theyre cheap and I know...you get what you pay for, but has anybody tried these out?

I got a few of the Jann's knockoff crankbaits and jerkbaits.  I dont use them for bass but for Snook and baby Tarpon.  I couldnt bear the thought of seeing my Luckycraft Pointers and RC's getting chewed up after just one fish.  They work good, better than I thought actually.  The through body metal wire, where exposed to hold the splitrings, actually rusts less in saltwater than Lucky Crafts.  And yes I always rinsed them off.
