My local DSG has a Saros 2500F on sale for $79.99 and I was wondering if I should pick one up? How would it compare to the Sahara that I already have? They also have a Citica 200G for $99.99.

I'd buy the Citica G definitely at that price.  As for the Saros, I believe that is almost half off?  Sounds like a good deal to me, can't comment on how much better it is vs the Sahara.  I'd imagine though since it is usually has a higher price point that it would be better.

The Saros is a steel, the F series is right there between the Stradic  and the Symetry with an Aluminum body!! 79 bucks is a steel, you better get a couple it may not have X-SHIP, but is a better reel than the new one as Shimano blessed it with a graphite body now! I have one and if you close your eyes you would swear it was a Stradic same bearing count and ssssssmmmmmmmmmooooooooottttttthhhhhh.

Ended up getting the Citica for $74.97 and will hopefully be back to get the Saros for around $60.

I just picked up a Citica early this week for $75 as well. Dicks was having a close out on them

They come with two spools ! Buy it. That's a super price on an outstanding reel.
