Trailer Wiring Adapter

Featured Replies

i have a 6 round to 4 flat adapter for my trailer and it loosens up and my lites don't always work....i have a nissan frontier and it came with the towing kit....it has a little tab on it that locks it in but still wiggles around....anyone have this issue and a fix.....don't know why they didn't make them so they twist and lock in tight like trolling motor plug......

I had to replace the plug when mine got loose on my frontier. I converted to a 7 blade plug and recpt....that worked better.

Now I have a Titan and it still is working great.

if the pins on the 6 wire have a split in them you can push in the blade of a flat screwdriver into the slots to open them up just a bit to tighten the plug connection ,or,you can push a piece of a cut off zip tie under the plug after you hook it up to tighten it up too,or replace it
