never mind,i was back out in the garage and it's now tripping the reset breaker.....back to motor guide i guess!!!!!! 2nd mind kota kota i've had problems with over the yrs...

i have a minn kota edge that stopped working,yesterday i noticed the housing was very hot when putting the boat on the trailer and this morning i went out and the motor does nothing.I have voltage to the foot pedal.I'm wondering if the windings went on it and maybe there is an internal overload that tripped and doesn't reset.If i leave the motor on now it doesn't get warm either. it's only 4 1/2 yrs old ....any help!!...i'm 2 hrs away from a dealer.....

my 640lx came with a 60 hp mercury and so did 3 others i looked at......so it's probabley the same motor....it was the standard hp unless you wanted to pay extra to upgrade to a 90hp

i have an 04 nitro 640lx with a 60hp...it's alittle under powered but i fish alone most of the time so it's not an issue..other than that i have no complaints....

i have a 6 round to 4 flat adapter for my trailer and it loosens up and my lites don't always work....i have a nissan frontier and it came with the towing kit....it has a little tab on it that locks it in but still wiggles around....anyone have this issue and a fix.....don't know why they didn't make them so they twist and lock in tight like trolling motor plug......

i'm gonna use some mono backing on my reels to save $$$ on flourocarbon. whats the best knot to join the 2 lines.....bloodknot i assume.....thanks

my pages on the bps website are messed up....displays maybe 3/4 of the width of the page.I don't know if my computer is messed up or the website.I didn't see any other posts about this so it's probably my computer although it's the only website thats messed up......thanks

anyone fish these lakes,i live in mass but the fishing is so poor because all the lakes near me are chemically treated for weed control i may need to go elsewhere. i have driven by these lakes and was wondering if i can put a bass boat in and how the bass fishing is...thanks for any info...or if there are any other lakes in the area that are worth trying

i removed the power panel but couldn't get my arm in far enough to reach all the bolts.instead of one larger hole there were two smaller holes behind the panel and if i made the hole bigger then there wouldn't be a place for the panel screws to hold to, so i ordered some isolater bolts from motorguide,maybe those will last longer....

i had the isolater bolts for my trolling motor start to pull out. i have a nitro 640 and don't have any access underneath....do i have anyother options other than ordering another set....or is one brand better than another,i think i used the universal set listed in bps catalog....

can anyone give me a liitle info about the res. i live in western mass and am tired of the lousy fishing around here the last couple years. i was looking at a vermont map and i think thats the closest large body of water.i was also considering st catherine.i would probabley go during a weekday,2nd or 3rd week in july(vacation)and will be fishing from a boat. any help is appreciated.....thanks

do you guys leave your sd cards in the units when not in use

it doesn't say what year..i found it at jth marine electronics for, $127.00....maybe i'll call them to be sure.......i'm new to this gps stuff!!!!!!!!!
