Vanford 2000 vs Stradic 1000?
The Vanford newest version in the size 2000 has a really nice loud audible drag clicker compared the the 2500 and 3000 series in case you were wondering.

If you were gifted a G.Loomis NRX+...
852s for smallie all around. Largie 893c Walleye-822syr or GLX 863 DSR River smallie rod 852s or 822syr 872 is overkill for smaller finesse stuff that is use. But Killer tube heavier jig dragging rod

Is the NRX+ 822S DSR NOT Ideal for Casting/Dragging? What is Ideal?
Glx 863 great rod for Great Lakes heavy drop shots. I'd throw 1/2 from time to time. DSR I feel the same way. To soft for casting or scope fishing. Wanted to like the NRX 872 for power drop but was to stiff same goes for the 852s NRX. I think you'll like the 863.

My New Terminal Box
Heres my minimalist setup for Small Mouth Bass fishing. This stays up front with me at all times on my boat and kayak. It's a Daiwa box made from Meiho. All small terminal stays in its slot and never overlapse. As you can see I also put my extra terminals in an old soft plastic bag keeping them in the original bag so they do not rust all together. Everything fits inside the Lakewood plastic storage. I also have an additional big Evolution terminal box if I need anything I grab from their. This has been the most efficient way for me so far...

My New Terminal Box
Toss half of that in it's original bag and throw them in an old use zoom baggy. Toss that bag with your plastic and they'd will never rust. Sucks when 1 rust it contaminate the rest of them

Anyone use OSP crankbaits?
Has anyone recall seeing the tiny blitz in the deeper diver bill with the coffin bill design? I know they have a deep runner in the tiny blitz but I had found one in the tiny blitz with the original coffin bill on it that dive deeper with a longer bill. I had just 1 and lost it but cannot seem to find them anywhere anymore. Must of been a very old version. Looks like the new tiny blitz diver is the newest design with your standard bill.

Okuma X rods are Amazing thread talk
If open water you could get away with a medium. Normally for all my senko rod med heavy ideal. But if you are gonna be Texas rig with 1/4 I'd go MH all the way. In the 7'3 or 7'5. Use to fish long rods like a 7'5 in the loomis line but I eventually going back to shorter rods in the 7 to 7'3. Better balance overall and more nimble for easy twitches easier to fish with all day

How much does a higher end rod ‘help’?
To op...... skip the Tatula and the Lavante. Get the New series of Okuma X rods. From owning alot of NRX, Croix, Megabass, Exprides & Adrenas. The Okuma rods are hard to beat right now. The blanks are by far the most lightest I've ever fished next to a custom rod feel and the price is good too not overly expensive. Check them out before you can pull the trigger on the other brands

Okuma X rods are Amazing thread talk
Have you guys felt these in hands yet? These blanks are amazingly light. I'm a big Loomis guy and I gotta say they are lighter than my NRXs. Can't wait to here from your guys experiences.

Do you seal the cork on your rods with a cork sealer?
Cork seal it and then use ceramic coat after it has cured. It will feel like natural cork and at the same time sealed.
