Found Old Rod. Can Anyone Identify?

Featured Replies

Found this old rod in the storage room of my apartment.  I dont think its anything special but I'm curious if anyone can identify it.  Must not be very good if there isn't a brand plastered in plain view ("Made in China").  The tip is broken off but I figured I could repair that easily.  The only thing recognizable is "XC16-355" along the side, almost like thats the brand name or something.

Someone may be able to identify the rod with a picture of the handle section of the rod. I am guessing the name has worn off?

By guide quality and blank thickness, it probably doesn't need to be ID'd. No offense intended. It looks like a cheapy. Doesn't mean it won't fish.

Someone on eBay had one for sale last month -- ask him if he remembers the brand name, perhaps? (listing here)
