If you are referring to Norman's Speed Clips, they are only made in 2 sizes. The smaller size would work with cranks. Just not sure what you mean, specifically. Got a pic?

I use the small size Norman Speed Clips on all crankbaits.  Man, Ben!  Those Owner clips are super pricey!

I ended up buying a pack of Eagle Claw Dual Lock Snaps size one. I'm tired of wasting line tying and retying cranks and whatnot so I figured I would give these a try. I'm assuming it's better to remove the existing split ring on the cranks to not mess with the action correct?

I just clip mine to the split ring and haven't noticed any changes in the action. I never really thought about it though, maybe someone will have more insight on the matter.

I also use the small Norman Speed clip's as Bob.

They're not the easiest to use if you have fat fingers or if your fingers are froze, but I think they work the best for fast changes, and do not alter the action.

I also use the small Norman speed clips for cranks. I will tell you that I will not use them on spinnerbaits, as I lost 3 spinnerbaits in one day. What happens is the wire of the spinnerbait rides on the speed clip and the spinnerbait slips out. As I was casting I felt the line go so far and my spinnerbait kept on going. It happened to me several times that day with different spinnerbaits and I won't use them for that anymore. Never had a problem with crankbaits though.
