The local city lake that I fish has A LOT of weeds close to the bank. I also bankfish and have been getting hits on my frog on a weedmat (haven't landed one yet...), what do you guys suggest that would not grab tons of weeds while working the weedbeds? Thanks!

I've had success with a weightless Texas rigged Rage Craw. You can even fish it in algae without picking up globs of snot..

Screw that. haha. just buy some mad maxx's and you will catch a ton. but if you miss a frog fish, go with a weightless plastic. I agree using a weightless trick worm.
