I tried something a bit different last year, a Rage Craw on 4/0 or 5/0 EGW fished weightless. Gives them something besides the usual trick, ribbontail etc to look at.

They are comfortable for all day wear and have held up well. I've worn a pair for the last 2 seasons, both on land and in a boat, and would buy again.

I think when they put that rattle in them it changed the action. Not for the better.

After using Stren since the 60's I tried Elite 4 or 5 years ago and didn't see much difference. Last year I switched to Siege and found it has more abrasion resistance than Stren or Elite.

I've had success with a weightless Texas rigged Rage Craw. You can even fish it in algae without picking up globs of snot..
