30-35 mph winds didn't make for a good topwater bite.

I use 2" PVC pipe with screw-on caps for single rods. Larger sizes for multiple rods.

Just go to Menards, Home Depot, Lowes, etc. and pick up a $.99 package of 100 4" black cable ties. Much easier than using collars.

I like the shorter ones. In fact I've been known to cut 3"-4" off the butt.
