Diy Punching Weights
Hi everyone, I want to start punching some heavy(ish) mats, and I don't want to buy punching weights. Does anybody have a do it yourself solution or any ways to rig a bullet weight for punching? Thanks!!

Lake Wallenpaupack
It's a good lake for striped bass. Most guys fish deep for them. It's a pretty good sized lake with a lot of water sport activities ( jet ski's, water skiing etc.). You need a decent sized boat to cover the whole lake. the weekends are pretty packed up there too. I live 20 miles away. I'll talk to some buddies and get more info for you

Spawning Locations In Extremely Weedy Lakes
My primary lake in Northeast Pennsylvania is a man made lake and is extremely weedy. I mean in 6 inches of water to the deepest parts (about 8 feet) have weeds. The spawn should be coming soon, and I was wondering if I should target shallow structure or "flats". I dont have a depthfinder so I'm kind of limited to guessing where they'd be. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

Jerkbait Colors
Hey everyone, I was just wondering what colors or patterns I should paint some new jerkbaits. The baitfish in my primary lake are shiners, golden shiners, bluegill, and perch. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

Want To Paint Baits, How Do You Hold Them While Painting
Hey everyone, I decided that I'm going to paint my own baits. I have a quick question about how you hold the baits while painting them. Is ther a holding device, a homemade device or do you lay them on a table..etc... Also i know people use stockings and small netting for scale patterns, but how is that done exactly? do you wrap the bait in the stocking? Any answers will help. Thanks a lot.

The Lure Swap to set the record straight.
I took a Japanese topwater popper (bass pattern), a 3" swimbait (white with black spots and a black back), and I took a bag of electric blue worms. Like I said, there wasn't much in the box that I was interested in... I'm not a liar or a thief. Also don't accuse me of taking something that I didn't take.

Couple Of New Ones- Spottail Shiner And Yellow Perch
did you use spro lures and rapaint them, or were they blank lures? btw, they look really good

The Lure Swap to set the record straight.
I got the box last week. It got shipped off to sloanezp yesterday. I didn't inventory takes or picks, because I haven't been following the thread. I only took two lures though, and replaced with some havoc baits, couple lipless cranks, and some plastic worms. Kind of disappointed at the selection I got (it was mostly plastics, and I don't need any more). I thought it was a "lure" swap.

Bass Frogs?
I like SPRO bronzeye frogs. They sit in the water nice and the hooks are sharp. I don't think I'd try the frog you posted. If I'm using a single hook frog, I prefer a yum money frog (not hollow bodied)

Smells Like My Garage?
I wouldn't worry about it too much, but I think the only line that might carry scent might be braid because it is more of a "fabric" compared to mono or fluoro which are like "plastic"... Kind of like if you sat around a campfire, your clothes would smell like smoke, but your flashlight wouldn't. Am I making sense?

Thinking Of Painting My Own Hardbaits. Is It Worth It?
I've been skilled in art since birth and when I see people's hand painted lures here, I want to do it myself. I've always wanted to paint my own hardbaits, but just wondering if the expense of everything is worth it? Also, where can I find unpainted hardbaits (cranks, jerkbaits, lipless)? Thanks.

Frogging
Frogs are fun. I think any topwater (especially buzzbaits IMO) is awesome.

Slow Pitch Softball
I have been playing for the last 11 years, but I had ankle surgery in March so I can't play this year. I was looking forward to it too, but, it gives me more time for fishing

Proper Tp Roll Placement?!
When I lived with my parents 13 years ago, my mom always put the roll with the paper in back (which I hate), so I decided to get her back. I unrolled about 5 feet of tp on the counter and put 6" strips of double sided tape down, rolled it back up, put it back her way and took all the extra tp out of the bathroom. After she spent a good 20 minutes trying to get some paper, she was pretty ticked. After that she religiously put the paper coming off the top. *WINNING*

Water Temperature Question
Everyone knows water temp is a big factor in fishing. I was wondering, why do people measure the water's surface temp and not measure the water deeper down? I mean the fish aren't that close to the surface, so why not see the temp at the depth they are at...
