I'm considering purchasing this rod and wanted to know a few opinions on it, how's the sensitivity and balance as well. Feel free to put in your 2 cents

Not to sound mean but these just became available for purchase a matter of weeks ago... maybe less. The folks that pre-ordered them may have them already but most folks probably haven't received their rods yet alone fished them. If you are wanting a review of this rod series before you pull the trigger probably wont find much for a little while. Only know one guy that has fished the rod but I don't want to give the thoughts of someone else.

Not mean at all, I was just curious to see if anyone had used one or opinions on the megabass rods in general, would it be worth it to buy though or just get another dobyns?

I fished a Dobyns Champion Extreme 702C Finesse Rod today alongside a new Megabass Orochi X4 Rattle Viper and it compared very well.    Have a Steez on both of them.

I like BOTH of them equally......I think there is room for both in a fisherman's arsenal.

In MY case, I picked up the Dobyns just about brand new for $190.  A bargain.  the Rattle Viper at $360.  I wouldn't say the Viper is worth almost twice as my Dobyns.  (But I'm not giving up my Viper!!)

X2 more information will be available as more people acquire them.

If you want to buy one and don't know which one will suit your needs then contact Gary at the TackleTrap. He has fished them all and is very precise on his recommendations.

Haven't spent enough time with it to really prepare a well formed opinion. I fished ithe F5-75XX this past weekend and am not overly impressed, nor am I turned off. I think, at this point, that it does fit well in its category.

TT just did a review of the Orochi XX F3-611XXS Drop Shot rod. May be of some interest.
