Greetings From Maine!!

Featured Replies

Hey all! My name is Carter and I'm a 15 year old bass fisherman from the great state of Maine. I'm sure most of you know that the bass action isn't exactly in its prime up here, but I still managed to catch an 8 pound back when I was 11. (yes I have pics) I've been fishing for about ten years. I started fishing streams for trout. One day, I hooked a nice 17 inch bass in a stream. The fight that he gave me was unforgettable. I was 8 at the time and I strained to get it in. I almost instantly became interested in bass fishing. I grabbed some books from the library and started fishing in the lake across from my house. 7 years later I'm still fishing that lake. I have a little 10' pond prowler and a 4 horse motor that gets me around. I'm kinda in a stagnant faze right now because I snapped my precious rod this morning. I really don't know how.... it just broke while I was casting..... Anyway, I look forward to being a member here and I hope to be able to learn a lot and show you some of my tricks and tips.

The picture of the 8 pounder is right there. It was 24 inches long. Just for reference.....
