Picked up the L.E.D. lights from Pep Boys. Brand is Pilot Automotive, part # CZ-204.  They have both red and green.

looks nice.... i did the same thing with blue LEDs to the rear of the boat, i havent done the front yet. i used these:

i can find them locally for the equivalent to $1 dollar, they come in 2 or 3 LED series (the LEDs are the yellow squares) and they have several colors....

here are two pics of the white ones installed inside, i put them to light the deck and under the console, and also on each storage compartment...

yours look way better though, inserted into the rub rail, for mine i just glued the series just above the rail... they come with 3M tape so its very easy to do, but does not looks as clean...

Thanks, I still need to do my rod locker.

I bought 9" led strips from China via ebay shipped to my house for $1 each, 12 volt.

The big one for boat led is bluewater led.

If you want the ebay links PM me. keep in mind, they take like 6-8 weeks to show up when you buy from over there.

May I suggest Amazon.com where I got mine (see my photos). http://www.amazon.com/Waterproof-Flexible-Adhesive-Olympic-Lighting/dp/B005EHHLD8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1371472493&sr=8-2&keywords=led+strip+waterproof

You can have them in one day if you want and their only $12.00 for a 5 meter roll.

I cut the strips to the length I needed and soldered on 22 awg wire. The strips can be cut in 3 LED increments where there are solder pads. If you want I can guide you through it via PM's or email with photos.

I used the White water proof LED strip lights with the 3M adhesive backing for my lockers and red for the seating area so I could still see while driving at night; I plan to put red LED's around the inside of the gunnel to light the deck at night.
