That above statement reminds me of the movie good morning vietnam when robin williams asks about the beer. The man in the shiny green suit says "Formaldehyde. Absinthe was supposed to taste horrid. Its one of my favorite liqours. Been drinking it for 10 years now. The cheaper imported taste better than most the high end ones.

Point isn't about scared to try it, I figure if they describe the taste like paint thinner why buy the ****. Mark is right rather enjoy something. If someone gave me a taste free of charge I probably wouldn't decline. Just don't understand how it will take off here, unless it is so cheap, then it is time to worry wether it is paint thinner lol.

Order it online. That swill the state stores sell is disgusting. There is a site called absinthe shop. That's where you get the good stuff from. The higher the thujin content the more potent it is. Do not slam it down. Sip on it. Most are in the high to medium hundred proof. Pounding it will give you the worst hangover imaginable.

no need for that just get some overproof jamaican rum...some lady went on vacation to jamaica and gave to me i took one taste and burned....i gave it to some guy who wakes up in the middle of the night to drink and he gave it back saying too strong lol
