Any Of You Guys Fishing In Hillsborough County Fl?

Featured Replies

I'm sort of new to bass fishing, but I have been reading and practicing a lot in the short time that I have been fishing. With that being said, I am starting to get skunked a lot more often now. I usually fish at Edward Medard and Dover district park, but have been skunked my last 8 trips. I would usually get one or two, but now I can't get one. I have thrown Senkos, trick worms, spinners, cranks, and jigs, but still can't get a bite. I am starting to lose confidence in all my lures. Any tips for this area would be greatly appreciated and if you know of any other more productive spots that would be great too. I recently purchased a jon boat so I have access to spots other than the bank.

I used to live in Brandon circa 1994-95. I used to have a few favorite, productive ponds, but I have no idea how almost 20 years of time has been on them.

I've been fishing the Hillsborough river with good luck, I put it at river hills. You can also try lake thonotosassa, which lately has been hit or miss for me. I have fished dover park a few times too, but usually only catch small ones out there.
