reelboy57 Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 What senko is better Gander Mountain or Yamamoto senkos? What has the best movement? Thank you Quote
Andy Taylor Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 The Yamamotas have more action, and are more flexible. The Gander's are more buoyant and sink much slower. Quote
Super User Marty Posted June 16, 2010 Super User Posted June 16, 2010 What senko is better Gander Mountain or Yamamoto senkos? What has the best movement? Thank you I don't think there's a best movement. Sometimes they might want a fast drop, other times a slow drop, and so on and so forth. I haven't used Gander, but in addition to Senkos, I've used two other brands plus something I've put together by fusing two pieces of other plastics. All have caught fish and I have confidence in all of them and I'm not prepared to say that one will outfish another over the long run. You may be well served to try a few and see what works for you. DRhodes Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 The Gander brand are total garbage. I agree, I purchased the gander mtn brand and I gave them away. They have very little movement. The Senkos are good, but another brand which I was impressed with were the strike king shim e sticks Quote
Super User Sam Posted June 17, 2010 Super User Posted June 17, 2010 Its in the salt. Give both a try and use the ones you like. Quote
