Trilene Xl Co-Polymer????

Featured Replies

Went to tackle warehouse and Trilene XL is now listed as a Co-Polymer. From reading, the XL is reformulated now. Going to have to revisit this line and see if it is a good all around line to use. Grew up using this line. Stretch is suppose to be reduced and the line is not suppose to loose as much integrity while soaking in water. Going to test it by this weekend. If it is better than when I used to use it then this line will be awesome. Still $8 for 330 yds.

i believe trilene XT has been reformed this year also..saw a new store display at dicks recently and it states its "softer core" then the original..might help out with some of the line memory issues of past.

i also grew up using xl/xt lines and the xt was one very tough line for its pound test!

the new xl line in 14#  was terrible i now have 12# spooled and its good
