Basser, please add Lafayette Louisiana to your avatar so we will know where you are and give you better responses to your questions.

Don't forget to wear purple and gold when fishing in Louisiana. It brings you luck.

I was born and raised in Bama. I'm a loud and proud Bama fan. That god awful purple and yellow is banned in my boat!

Those big Louisiana bass know purple and gold. They shun red and white.

When football season rolls around we expect you to chime in when everyone goes against the powerful SEC.

Hope you can make a game in Tiger Stadium at night. This year CBS and ESPN want the Fighting Tigers in the afternoon slot. I hope we have a lot of night games.

I have been to Bama for a few games and Awbunn, too. But there is nothing like Tiger Stadium on a Saturday night.

Now go eat some jambalaya and enjoy the fishing.

Hey this is fishing forum.........lol

My son in law went to Venice couple of years ago, sent me the pics, that's one place I need to go.

Snook, fishing for redfish is a blast in south Louisiana.

Put it on your bucket list to go down to Venice and have a great time.

Bring a camera to take lots of pics.

I plan to return to south Louisiana and the Venice area in the future to do some more redfish fishing.

Even my wife who grew up on a Pennsylvania dairy farm loved the adventure.

And the guides will even take the Bamasux fans fishing. Just don't know if they will bring them back!!!!!!!

We have redfish here but not many in palm beach county, I've only caught 2 of them in my local waters.  One of guys that comes out on the jettie goes up to Sebastion quite often and gets them up there, he caught a 42# off the beach in Melbourne on an artificial shrimp.

Snook and tarpon are great but ya gotta have a little variety now and then.
