Hi Everyone,

I am a "newer" angler. Grew up fishing ponds in NY until I went away to college. Was away from it for a long while, and took it up 2 years ago - in part to spend some quality time with my kids. Its been quite an addiction. Its become my only hobby and I cant learn enough. Im especially focused into swimbaits and split-shotting. Cant seem to find good swimbaits that mimics the forage in my lake (gizzard shad, white perch) yet. - as most offerings are from the west coast.

Anyway- Im glad to find such a wealth of info here!

Welcome! Glad you have success using swimbaits here. Most of the places I fish in Jersey just don't hold big enough bass for me to warrant using them.
