1St Lures (Special Thanks To Comfortably Numb)

Featured Replies

This is how it all started. I found this lure (hula dancer) in one of my great grandfathers tackle boxes and decided to redo it.

While i was waiting for the paint to dry I got bored and started cutting up a piece of wood with a dremel tool. I was going for a small popper

And here is the finished product. Special thanks to comfortably numb for hooking me up with the hula tails!

I call them the green hornet, and the rainbow fish. All done with rattle can so not near as cool as the airbrush stuff. Unfortunatly with the popper i couldnt find eye screws any smaller so i had to go with the smallest the hardware store had. I also dressed the tail myself and im no fly tyer, but hopefully the fish wont mind.
