Full Moon Night Fishing

Featured Replies

Just had a blast fishing for a few hours from sundown until well into the night. I caught around 20 bass and 2 pumpkinseeds.

All of the fish were under a pound and a half due to an extreme overpopulation.

However, it does make a good practice pond and it is the only place I fish during winter because I am guaranteed to not get skunked.

My main lures were:

*Soft Plastic Jerkbait

*Tube

*Spook

*Buzzbait

Got my first fish on a buzzbait, but it wasnt a bass! Crazy pumpkinseeds!

Nice man!  I actually just went out when I got off work a couple hours ago.  Me and a guy I work with had been wanting to try a pond out on this abandoned golf course.  Weather was beautiful, we had a nice full moon, and this pond definitely looked like it should hold some big bass but we didn't get anything.  I'm thinking there's nothing in there.  Pond wasn't that big and we covered it really good.  Gonna go out to one of my usual spots in a couple hours and hopefully pick up on the early morning topwater bite.  Congrats on a good night fishing trip!
