Rod Or Reel You Sold/given And Wished You Hadn't

Featured Replies

Few years ago, I sold a Shimano Cardiff 101 round baitcast reel.  To this day, I wish I didn't do it, even though a couple years later I bought a Calcutta 101TE.  I for some reason really like that reel, and have been on a hunt trying to find another one.

What's your story???

The Chronarch SF 101.  I originally sold mine right after the B series was released.  I then sold the Chronarch B and purchased a Zillion.  I still have the Zillion, and really love the reel, but I miss the SF more than any other reel.

I caught my PR on that reel.  I was using a Leverage buzzbait, and it was paired with a Dion Hibdon American Rodsmiths stick.

Someday I hope to purchase another.

My old school American made Allstar rod. 7'6 and super lite weight great rod
